OMG!!! Well Mike completely took me by surprise!!! We've had our SC/NC trip planned for a while for his marine buddy's wedding. Mike and I had also been talking about our future together for a while but it seemed like it was going to be a while before anything happened. On Friday October 3rd, Mike took me to Camp Lejeune and while we were there we went to Onslow Beach on base. We were walking along the beach and I was dreaming how wonderful it would be for him to propose and sure enough, Mike started talking about our future together and got down on one knee!!! I was still clueless and then the most GORGEOUS ring ever made came out of his pocket and I freaked out!!! I was sooo happy I couldn't believe it!!! The ring is absolutely B-E-A-UTIFUL and I absolutely LOVE IT!!! So Mike and I are engaged and happy as ever trying to figure out when the wedding will be :)
Here is a pic of Mike, me, Cody, and Taryn. Random enough, Taryn and I have been best friends since 5th grade. Cody and I went to the police academy together. I ended up getting them together and now they're engaged!! And what's even better is that Taryn and I are roommates and Mike and Cody are roommates...perfect fit for all!!
Here's our super cute and fun loving black lab Bronx laying on my bed :) He's up to about 68 pounds and a handful, but he still thinks he's a small puppy haha.

On Sept 3rd Mike and Cody moved into their new 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment!!! Definitely a very long day moving but the weather was a bit overcast, which made it a bit easier haha. I don't think we could've done it without Garcia and Rice though...they definitely helped out a ton!!
Mike just started his first semester at UTA as a business major!! He went to TCC to complete his freshman and sophomore year and earned his associates degree. Now he's on to UTA to complete his bachelor degree!!
